The Marco Polo Trade Secret and How You Can Use It To Build a 7Fig Importation Business Anywhere

In 1271, an Italian merchant ? Marco Polo – traveled all the way from Venice to Asia. By the time he returned to Venice, after less than a year he became extremely wealthy.

His friends followed suit. They traveled to Asia, followed the same strategy he used, returned, and in less than a year, they were also wealthy.

It wasn`t just luck. It kept happening each time someone did exactly what they did. It was almost like an exact science.

They taught a few men in Venice their little secret and anybody who followed that secret became wealthy.

Surprisingly, How They Created Their Wealth Was Interestingly Simple

Here is exactly how it happened. When they got to Asia, they searched and discovered some goods that were rare in the whole of Europe. But although these goods were rare in Europe they were so common in Asia that they were very cheap to purchase.

And because they were common in Asia:

They Bought AND Imported These Goods from Asia at a Very Cheap Price

And when they returned to Venice Italy, with those goods, it drove Italians wild. What these small circle of merchants were selling had NEVER been seen anywhere in Europe. Everyone wanted to have what they sold.

Because of this, these merchants began to sell these goods at a high mark-up price, about seventy times the price they had bought them. And because they were rare ? the Italians couldn’t help but buy without giving a damn about price.

Marco Polo and his friends repeated this same process over and over again, and in little time they were all wealthy. And this is why in modern times big buses that travel long distance on commercial purposes are called Marco Polo (You must have seen some of these buses.

After some years, the Marco Polo secret was passed down from century to century and the merchants began to show their children the sea route they used to travel to Asia and the places where they bought their goods.

And again, their children too became wealthy just like their fathers. The strategy worked every single time it was applied and it made them super wealthy..

In 2001 The Same Thing Happened In Nigeria.

Just after Telecommunication companies got introduced into the country. A Group of companies who knew the Marco Polo strategy swung into action and imported cheap phones from Asia. When they brought them into the country, and because GSMs were rare here, they sold them at a high prices.

In less than a year, these men were extremely wealthy.

Same thing happened with SIM cards. They were sold at 70 times the cost price when they were rare in Nigeria. And when it became common the price miraculously dropped drastically.

Same thing with power banks.

All of these items were sold using the same 700 Years old Marco Polo trading secret. “Sell what is rare”

and almost by chance –

I Discovered This Secret, and Exactly How It Works, About 8 years Ago, From A Business-Man Here In Nigeria.

And Here Are 3 Things You Must Get Right To Succeed.

starting ecommerce business

People can be funny.

You hear about eCommerce and importation and the first thing you’re thinking about is importing bags, shoes, hairs, etc.

And when you go on Aliexpress and import these products,

You hit a rock and you’re unable to sell them.

You’ve now basically turned your room into a warehouse of unsold products.

The thing is, products shouldn’t be the first thing you think about.

Start by thinking about what problems can you solve?

Think about the market first before the product.

Most eCommerce/Importation business persons think selling is just posting photos of your product on Instagram or On Their Facebook Newsfeed or WhatsApp Status.

There is a psychology to making people buy what you’re selling.

People don’t care how much you know until they know how much you care.

The truth is no one is coming on Facebook or Instagram to buy your product.

They are coming to watch comic videos and chat with friends.

So, if you don’t know the right way to get their attention, it would be difficult to sell to them.

My point is, learn how to get people’s attention in a way that makes them buy from you happily.

Sometime ago an old school friend messaged me on Facebook.

He said he’s currently into mini importation (one of the gooroos taught him how to).

So what was the problem?

He said he doesn’t see what he makes…90% of the time, he runs into losses.

So what did I do?

We looked at how much he was buying the product,

  • How he was shipping the product
  • How much he was selling the product
  • And how much he was spending on advertising.

I found out his problem was that his numbers didn’t add up.

He was spending so much on buying and shipping the product that he wasn’t spending enough to reach a lot of people who need his products.

The truth is that if you are making just one of these mistakes, your mini importation business probably won’t be around by this time next year.

See, I won’t belabor the point, if you’d like to know how to grow a profitable eCommerce business in Nigeria

I’m willing to show you how it works.

Even better, I have put together a list of 30 products you can start selling and everything you need to help you sell a lot of them.

And it doesn’t stop there, you get step by step set up videos that takes you through 3 steps;

Now, you can try to do all of these yourself but be prepared to spend the next 6-12months and most likely still arriving at same results you’ve always gotten
